Kansas City, MO is lucky to have my friend, colleague and student, the seasoned Susan Preuter. I can verify that she knows what she's facilitating to her students because we are cut from the same pedagogical cloth: Somatic Voicework™ The LoVetri Method. If you are working with Susan, you're in good hands. From vocal function to interpretation, she knows what she's talking about!

VOICE LESSONS
DISCOVER YOUR POTENTIAL
Are you someone who loves to sing but desires more confidence? Or maybe you have a specific struggle that you experience when you sing? Have you always wanted to learn to sing but just felt you did not have enough raw talent?
The good news is that singing is for everyone! You don't have to have a great voice to learn and grow as a singer and performer. Learning to sing can benefit your health in multiple ways from learning to breathe correctly and efficiently, improving posture, releasing both tension and trauma in the body, and building confidence.
Susan has a Master's Degree in both piano and vocal performance from Northern Illinois University. She has also completed levels I-III
of Somatic Voicework ™ The Lovetri Method. Susan's initial training was in opera, but she is also trained in, performs, and teaches jazz and CCM, including musical theatre and pop.
One of the most important things we do at Empowered Voices is give students the tools they need to feel confident in their bodies as a performer. Singing should be freeing, exhilarating, and fun, not stressful and anxiety producing!
Our lessons focus on:
-
The connection between the voice and the body
-
Breath support & vocal control
-

-
